What better place could there be for the placing of solar panels than the roof, after all it is the place where most solar panels are placed anyhow, but instead of having a huge solar panel system fixed to the roof, this new system has actually built the solar panels into roof tiles, which will make the whole process easier and much more secure as the tiles are actually built into the roof instead of on the roof as with conventional solar power systems.

It won’t be long before this type of product is being produced on a large scale which will bring the price down and make virtually every new home totally solar powered, which is going to be great for the environment and at the same time save people money on energy costs too.

This type of product is already available, but anyone wanting to use them would have to replace their old roof tiles or part tiles with this new product, but the problem that it presents to the consumer is cost, if the roof is built with these tiles then the cost is absorbed into the building costs, but when a home owner has to do this the cost may not ever be recouped.

Until now if you had the money and wanted a big sports car that oozed class and style you would have had to opt for the hugely popular Bentley Continental GT, and many people did. So it is probably no surprise that Rolls Royce thought that they could do that too, and they have with the Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe.

It is powered by the BMW designed and built 6.75 litre V12 engine, the body is made from lightweight materials and the chassis is made from aluminium.

Essentially this is not a car, it is a land boat, and it oozes class and style and has a price tag of around $400,000.

Although this car has been seen a few times this is the first real hands on feel of the Jaguar XF, now initially and depending on which angle you it from, it is fairly easy to mistake this car for a Ford, which it is, but upon closer inspected the blue oval feeling disappears and the cat shows it claws.

This car is a new direction for the saloon Jaguar, and if James Bond was married with kids, this is probably what he would trade his Aston Martin in for.

As with all Jaguars the car is virtually silent as it glides along the roads, powered by a choice of 2.7 litre V6 diesel, the more powerful 3.0 litre V6 petrol and there are two V8 models, all feature the six speed automatic gearbox, with power shift paddles on the steering wheel for extra fast gear changing.

Inside it is almost like a cross between a gentleman’s club and the flight deck of an aircraft which actually gives the car an advantage over its main rivals such as Mercedes, Audi and BMW. The prices for the XF start at around $66,000 and rise up to $108,000, which is competitive which the market and yet it will hold a better price than some of the rivals when it come to selling.

If this car actually went into production there would be two things happening on one hand there would be a huge queue of young girls wanting to buy one and on the hand there would be more people shouting out “Why?”

In either case this is not really going to happen but this one off car is a bit of an eye opener and would definitely stop the traffic in more ways than one. Its quite fitting that this car has been chosen for the accolade of being the Hello Kitty colours, that of pink and more pink, because although this is a Fiat and was a very popular model in the 1980’s, but it was in fact built in Poland and this particular model is currently a resident in Hungary, so it is a truly European model and deserves as much praise as it gets.

But there is still one thing and it has to why on earth Hello Kitty, there are many other themes out there that could do just as good a job, but with so many fans around could this ever become a serious trend like with phones and laptops?

Now sometimes there are things that should not really be attempted, placing an old Rolls Royce Nimbus helicopter jet engine into an old Dodge Minivan could be classed as something like, but then again why not, we believe that if it fits in, it’s good to go and as it happens, this huge engine does fit in.

What is really great about this vehicle is the fact that it can be driven as normal by using the standard motor but for a little overtaking power it can easily be switched over to the jet power, the only real modification is that the rear window would need to be opened up for the jets exhausts. Now the old Dodge can travel do a 1/8th of mile in 7.14 seconds, with the jet only at 2,100 revs!

Surprisingly the jet does not actually provide any thrust, the power driven through the drive shaft. In actual fact these types of jet engine do not actual flames either, this is produced for display purposes only when fuel and oil are sprayed into the exhaust before ignition, the crowds love a nice burn up. But there is one thing that concerns, I wonder what happens if they forget to open the rear window!

It seems that even buildings are becoming ever more eco friendly, every time that new design comes out it seems to have some element of how it will efficiently use as many natural resources as possible. That is the same with the new Discovery Tower, which is located at 1501, Mckinney Street, Houston, Texas. It is a thirty storey office building that will have fitted at the top ten wind turbines, which at that height will most definitely get enough wind to keep them going for most of the year, even when there is little wind at ground level.

The cost of this building is going to touch a very un eco friendly $300 million and with the work just recently started it means that it will not be that long before we begin to see things taking shape. Even tough the building is not due to be completed until the middle 2010. It is then that we will see the building in all of its glory.

It is not just the wind turbines that make this building green, but it’s the whole package of air filtration, water-efficient plumbing, and an energy efficient heating & cooling system that will make this a very eco friendly building indeed, which is a great selling point.

But thank goodness times have changed and now we are all looking for ways that we can still have the good things life, but without the worrying of how it has been made or what it are made from.

These lamps represent a time when things moved slowly, but thanks to modern day technology we are able to produce these fantastic looking lamps which feature nice lines and shapes, these blend I with the way that the colours work to produce a nice warm glow, almost as if they were powered by gas.

Another great thing about these lamps is the range of styles that they are available in, whereas in the past most of these would have been produced as a one off design, not any more there are many styles and sizes to choose from.

Have you ever wondered what happens to those old billboard posters when they peel off or are taken down before the wind blows them across the road? Well it would seem that there are some people out there who have had some good ideas as to what to do with all that coloured paper. So what could be better that seeing something that is colourful and exciting even though it is made from a billboard?

This wallets outer part is made from a billboard so you get the all of the colours and patterns from just a small part of this giant poster, while inside there is space credit cards and your driving licence with clear windows etc. to keep everything safe there is a handy magnetic clasp which will hold everything together.

This is ideal for both men and women, as it is a good neutral size and shape which is timeless, so there is no need to keep up with fashion at all, in fact it is more likely that once people see you with this they will be wanting one too, so in actual fact it could be a fashion statement that you are carrying all of your cash and cards around in.

Priced at $22
